Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

There is no doubt these are durable and great for any bed you are making but bring home a sample of the wood you want to use first or try in the store. This was my mistake because the pressure treated lumber I bought did not slide nicely into these brackets as I imagined. In fact, I had to pound them in in some cases, shaving the sides of the board as I did. The wood was just ever so slighly bigger than the bracket. I think they need to manufature these with slightly more tolerances to accomodate all wood and to allow for the fact that some wood, like pressure treated, can swell as can damp wood. It was way too much work for me to be mallating the boards into place.

    Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

My raised garden beds used to warp and fall apart. Each year we had to rebuild our boxes. A few years ago I sent for the corners. They look so nice and work well. This year we are rebuilding the rest of our boxes and will use the corners. I also like that you can take the caps off the corners and insert poles. I do that around my blueberry bushes and then when they are just beginning to ripen I wrap netting around the bushes and tie it to the poles keeping them bird free.Last year I finally got some blueberries. :)

    Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

The product itself is fantastic. The poles are strong and solidly constructed. I have no worries that these will last me a very long time.

I ruined a drill bit, however, trying to put together a garden bed. It took this for me to realize that the screws Gardner's Supply sent with the bed corners were too large for their holes.

I went to my basement, picked up a handful of smaller screws, and all went smoothly from there.

If you are having trouble assembling this, check the screw size!

      Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I love the raised bed corners. Disappointed the sizes are not actual size. The 8" corners are <7.5", the 10" corners are 9.5", the 12" corners are 11.5". The 23" corners are really 23". I wish I got all 23" and 15", the higher the less bending. I wonder if I just got factory seconds and paid full price?

        Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Before you start, ensure that the corners are not bent (one of ours was slightly bent--but a pair of pliers did the trick; this is good quality steel so you'll want to be sure you have the strength to bend it). The inside screw holes close to the ground will invite some frustration but outside screws may (?) be ugly. All in all, a useful product. Currently, the product is for boards 1-1/2" think. I used eight 2 x 6 x 6 and four 2x 6 x 4 cedar to create a 4 x 12 garden which is 12" high (used two 6 inchers to create the 12" depth). Also used the in-line connectors for the 12' length. Assembly is easy.

Good product, makes assembly of raised bed child's play, but pre- drilled holes could use better placement , or more of them to accommodate different widths of planking

                      Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

This is actually my second year purchasing these. These corners, the related extenders (to make deeper beds), and the inline connectors are all good quality, easy to use, and durable. I like the raised beds that I made with these corners last year so much that when I decided to expand my garden this year it was a no-brainer to buy these again. So far they have survived a major flood and a blizzard. The only caution I have for new users: to use the taller brackets (10", 12") you need to make sure the boards you buy are good and flat. There is very little tolerance in the slot for the board end (this is a good thing) - buy wet wood or be prepared to sand the ends with a belt sander.
