Our 5' tall rainbow spirals provide sturdy support for your plants as they grow. Simply push into the ground at the base of a tomato plant or flowering vine. Then attach or train the plant to the spiral; the smooth steel arcs support at every turn. Excellent space-savers, as they encourage vertical growth while ensuring good light exposure and easy harvesting. (If using one spiral to support a tomato plant, prune the plant to a single stem and tie the stem to the spiral.) Great for creating bean or morning glory tepees! I leave these out all year. In the winter they liven up the drab landscape. They work well for lilies and other tall plants. They have lasted a few years so far.

I was surprised that in most, but not all cases, one could twist an already developed but floppy, laden tomatoes at various nodes could, in most cases, still be trained to stand up with these spiral supports. Put the effects of the velcro green strapping ties into the equation, and was able to straighten out most of my already bearing tomato plants, without damage to the plant itself or to the tomatoes.

These seem to be very sturdy and easy to use. As I have not used them in my vegetable garden yet I can't say how well they will last. I will use them for my tomatoes next spring.

These spiral stakes are beautiful in my garden....like a contemporary work of art among my tomatoes. The quality is so-so however since 2 out of the 5 were impossible to assemble so I used the halves as short stakes.

Almost impossible to assemble! I was ready to give up when finally the last one went together straight. So I started over and succeeded. I'm glad I kept at it. They're charming.
The trick is to align the pieces so that the curve at the end of one continues the curve of the other. Even then it's not always easy but worth the effort.

I bought these for a client in hopes that they were both attractive and functional. I also liked that they came in nice colors. But I couldn't get them together and when I did they were no long straight. The piece that connects them is to heavy so they lean over. There now in her garage until the next time I can try to get them to work. They should have been all one piece with the heavier piece on the bottom very disappointed because I really did love the look of them.

This product worked great as a tomato plant support. They also work great as vine and plant supports in containers
