Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I needed something on my deck to catch the water so I could water the plants without lugging the water hose up a flight of steps. This is perfect for that. One rain fall and the urn was full. I've been able to water my deck plants with ease.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I am looking forward to installing this rainbarrel in the spring. Anxious to get it hooked up once warmer weather is here. The directions seem fairly simple so I am not anticipating any problems with the hook-up to my downspout.

We purchased this rain barrel about three years ago and use it all year long. We have also purchased two more as gifts. What a great gift idea and it adds so much to the landscaping.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

Overall, we like it's size (65 gal.). The material is durable and really looks like a clay pot. The bottom hose connection keeps algae from collecting in the base of barrel. Slow flow -- be patient! It is essential to set it level on a base of hardscape.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

Needed to replace an old rainwater collector with a larger size. Use the collected water for potted flowers and veggies. This product looks nice. Needs to be on a flat surface, ours is on a piece of slate we had sitting around. The product came in a ripped plastic bag without directions, so I think it was a recycled return. I definitely needed instructions to put it together, as it comes with several fixtures. Customer service was able to email them to me after some difficulty (the women on the phone didn't think it looked too hard to put together, I informed her otherwise). If it survives the winter I'll be happy. Was not happy with how the product arrived.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

I use the water collected from my rain barrels to water my mature trees and shrubs in my garden, as well as potted plants, window boxes etc. I can easily attach a soaker hose to the facet. I did use a nail to make larger holes in my soaker hose to allow better flow of the water out of the hose. We were so happy with the first one that we purchased a second. The look is nice in the garden. We did make holes in the top bowl area so water would not collect. We did not water to have a place where mosquitos can breed.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:

We bought this to catch the condensation from the air conditioner and it does a great job. The condensate drips down from a pipe on the roof. To provide a large area to catch it, I drilled holes in the basin portion of the top. This was noisy and produced a lot of splatter. I filled the basin with 1 inch river rock and this works beautifully.
