Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
We have a downspout on our front porch that never did its job and the porch was always wet. Also have a cypress that hides the water facet on the house makiing it difficult to access to daily water flower pots and window boxes. Killed two birds with one stone. Now can easily access water via the hose on the collection urn, and the porch stays dry. Also looks very classy on the porch and can plant flowers in the top. Very easy to assemble and use, option of using spiget on side or hose from bottom.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
It is the third rainwater urn of that type I have purchased to retrofit the gutters of the house. They all work great, do not leak and are weather resistant. The only con is that when the urn is half-full, the atmospheric pressure is not enough to obtain a fast water flow from the downspout. With a small pump it works great though.
The top serves as a great water bath for the birds during summer. Large birds just love it.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
I use this as a water reservoir, as it is not set up to collect rainwater. It's a very attractive design. It took some effort to make sure that the fittings were properly secured. Improvement could be made to the instructions. The quality of the hose and the faucet could have been better. The plastic threading on the urn (for connecting the faucet, and hose) is easily damaged; leaks can the occur.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
My Rainbarrel Urn was easy to assemble/install and hose/spigot work flawlessly. Looks great with the landscaping/garden setting. Natural rainwater perked my flowers and I have the good feeling of conserving, using our natural resources and saving on my water bill!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
I finally got another urn after having one for two years. The second urn catches the overflow from the first. I feed watering cans via the urn spigots to water plants in pots or planters. I do a lot of watering and rarely do I run dry. They are hooked up to a garage gutter, the roof of which generates about 65-gal with an 0.5 inch rain. I also spray painted my urns copper-brown to be less obtrusive in the surroundings of my back yard. The terra cotta color they come in be-speaks of "terra cotta," fine, if that is what you want.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
We used a curved piece from the gutter to direct water into the rain barrel and then make sure to take water from both the low faucet in front and from the hose arrangement on the other side, using the water for hand-watering of special plants.
There really isn't enough water pressure to rig a regular hose to the barrel, but we are happy with the arrangement we have. I can see that having two barrels attached would be even better (especially when it rains a lot), but we had room for only one. Product is fine and is a handsome, practical addition to the back of our garage. Thank you. I always enjoy your catalog!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
My 3 year old loves to fill her watering can at the spigot and water her little garden. I have a drip system so this isn't my main source of water but on a hot afternoon the deck pots can always use a little more and this is a great place to grab some cool water. I am amazed at the amount of water this thing holds,it never seems to run dry.

This looks great in the front of my house. I plant flowers in the top. I recommend you drill some drainage holes in the planter. I use the water every day to water my potted plants.
