- Raises Above Ground
For me the best thing about this stand is that it raises the rain barrels up which raises the head on the water level. This means gravity flow can carry the rain water a long way to the back of my property to water new shrubs and trees. Also I don't have to get down so low to change hoses or turn the faucet on or off. Great new product. Well worth it!

Best Uses
I bought the rain barrels with linking kit before the stands became available. I put the barrels under the downspout that releases the most water. Then (duh) discovered that they were downhill from the rest of the yard. Hiring someone to build me stands would have cost more than these. The stands not only allow me to water uphill, they also make the barrels easier to access. I wish the wood were finished with paint or some other protectant. I painted them myself and they look great.

Great product! Looks nice, and keeps my rain barrel off of the ground. Helps to increase water pressure. Only con is that an empty rain barrel blows over more easily up here... but it's rarely empty, so not much of an issue.
