Comments about 30" Railing Planters:
The sticker on the planter was labeled "Mocha" and it is a darker brown than the bronze one displayed on this web site. Nice planter though.

Comments about 30" Railing Planters:
We have a raised deck off our MBR that is very close to our neighbor's view. I wanted to find something that would increase our feeling of privacy...
I ordered 2 bronze deck planters and planted them with white Cosmos, white petunias, and white bacopa. They filled in/out/and/up quickly and are beautiful!
They are light and easy to lift-and-turn. I rotate them, and switch positions, in order to keep them full and showy.
They do require frequent watering, and dead-heading, but it doesn't take much time and is totally worth the beauty and privacy.

I think these planters are wonderful. I have 6 planters on my deck. They don't take up any room (on rail) and are very attractive and stable. I also have to mention that the [...]is is very good. I will recommend to my friends and I would buy again.

Comments about 30" Railing Planters:
I just ordered 4 of these railing planters in white. They came quickly & I have been so pleased with them. I planted petunia's in them right b4 Memorial Day. I was watering them every day until I came home last night and discovered two of them missing off the porch. Evidently, that's how much others admired them too! Some one obviously stole two of them. FYI, make sure you use twine or a little nail thru one of the watering holes so you won't have this happen to yours. They looked great out on my porch railing too! The two that are left hopefully will remain there for good. So please, please make sure you either use twine to wrap the planter underneath good to the railing OR use a little nail or something first if you have this type of crime happening in your neighborhood. I never thought in a million years that I'd have to do this. Unfortunately I know now & it's too late. Please think this way first for your own sake with these fantastic planters as they truly are worth it!

Comments about 30" Railing Planters:
I have been searching for years for planters for my small deck. If I put pots on the ground, there is no room for me on the deck, but if I put a standard hanging basket or window box on the railing, they crash to the ground the first time a heavy thunderstorm blows through. These planters stay put, even when the wind comes in 30 mile per hour gusts. They are big enough to hold plenty of plants and they don't take up space.

I use these planters on my deck and used to be able to buy at local gardening center; but can't find them anymore. I found them on internet last year but didn't get my order in until this year and saw that the price went from around [$] per container to about [$]. That is about a 40% increase year to year. I will start looking now for my next replacement and hopefully will find them cheaper somewhere else.

Using it for small herb groupings, wish it was deeper. Really pricy for what you get, kept me from buying twice as many. Good for "color" on patio w/railing using annuals. Have to see how they hold up in Texas sun.
