Cons

Best Uses

- Small plants
I purchased 2 of these to attempt to finally grow strawberries close to the house. They arrived quickly and were fairly easy to assemble. They are very plain, but allow the colorful plants to shine. My most important suggestion is to use high-quality soil that retains water (perhaps add some water-retaining granules, etc.) The dirt is relatively shallow and tends to dry out very quickly. We constantly watered these. We will be replanting some of the plants and enhancing our soil this spring. They are easy to slide around on the patio if we need to move them. I did add a layer of weed mat on the bottom before filling with dirt, which did prevent the dirt from leaking out of the bottom fairly well. Overall, a neat planter that should work well for strawberries or other small plants, provided you take the extra step to add a weed mat on the bottom and fill them with some good quality soil, and water them regularly.
Pros
- Attractive
Cons
- Flimsy
Best Uses
I loved the idea of this and used it for herbs this summer. When I went to put it together this spring, however, I found the boards to be warped somewhat which did not allow for the pieces to interlock easily as they were supposed to. I almost gave up a number of times to send it back, but was determined to make it work because I love so much of Gardeners products. During assembly a couple of pieces of wood broke off, but they were not very noticeable and not necessary for holding the whole package together, so I just carried on. When I went to transplant the herbs from this planter into something I could bring indoors, I was worried because I heard the wood straining as I was trying to extract the plants (fighting against the well established root system). I was concerned about breaking the wood again. All in all, I like this product, and it sounds like some folks did not have the same issue I did, but wanted to put it out there that there are SOME concerns about this product.
Pros
- Easy assembly
- Generous size
- Nice looking
Cons
- Wood is thin
Best Uses
- Strawberries
I purchased this for my strawberries, which were shading each other out in a flat raised bed. I stained it before assembly to make the planter last longer. The plants are very happy, but one of the upper boards split in half along the grain before the planter was a month old. It still looks great, but I think that the wood for this planter should be a little bit thicker.

Pros

Best Uses
- We are using it for herbs
We needed a versatile design for holding our herb garden. In the past, pots did not hold up well as the planters got to hot and only allowed for a limited number of plants. With this design we are able to have all of the herbs we want as well as flowers on the lowest tier. Very nice product and I can't recommend it enough.
Pros
- 5 minutes to assemble
- Plenty of room for plants
- Saves space
- So easy to put together
Cons

I got this to put in my small greenhouse for my strawberries. I was able to put many plants in the pyramid. The design is awesome, space saving, easy to put together and works beautifulkly. Highly recommend. I would buy another one for other plants like herbs, flowers, etc. Highly recommend.

Cons
Best Uses
It was easy to put together - however the correction to the instructions about turning the letters to the outside - were located in the invoice - so I didn't find it until I was ready to send the whole thing back.
