The old y connection was so hard on the fingers to push the small plastic levers off and on.
One half of the Y is for the hose to the auto fill of the bird bath. The other half for a hose that is used off and on for all kinds of things...watering plants, cleaning gardening tools, etc. This version is so easy on my fingers.

Just a simple button, but a great idea. We've added one to all six of our outdoor faucets. As someone with arthritis, I can't begin to tell you how much easier this product makes my life.

Good idea but....can not easily tell if flow on or off by look or feel. Off did not stop full flow and very shortly the hose was pressurized again. I returned the product. The return was easy.
