In India, hens represent prosperity; hanging a string of Prosperity Hens in a doorway is believed to bring good fortune and bestow abundance upon the inhabitants of the home. These hens are sewn from colorful cotton sari fabric and adorned with tiny bells, beads and sequins. Approximately 50" L with a brass bell at the bottom.

Great for a spot that needs a bit of whimsey. However, I believe that the hens are too small and over priced.
I was disappointed to find enclosed health warning concerning the materials used to make the prosperity birds. This warning was not listed in the catalogue. I will not order from your catalogue again due to this.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my mom, she had actually seen it in the catalog and said how cute it was so I knew she would like it. It is very colorful and the sequins catch the sun beautifully.
