Comments about Bulb Bopper®:
This device did exactly what it was supposed to with great ease. I planed over 60 bulbs in less then an hour. I have always been reluctant to buy a lot of bulbs (Daffodils, tulips) because of the amount of effort to dig in our heavy clay soil. This did the job and next year we will do a lot more because of the ease of use.

There is lot of information included. This is important to read! I have some clay and it still worked when conditions were right (two days after heavy rain. Do beware of irrigation pipes (as warned).
I look forward to using this again. It made an arduous job easier and much quicker!

Comments about Bulb Bopper®:
Used this product to try and plant bulbs. It would not dig a hole easily, stopped many times, walked, heavy with the drill. My soil is clay so it might work in a new bed. My drill broke, I returned the product, waiting for a refund.

Very disappointerd. It did not dig into our flower beds. Tried all over the yard and even waited until after it rained but it dod not dig a hole for the bulbs. I gave up and had better luck with a hand spade after it rained.

Comments about Bulb Bopper®:
I was facing the project of planting 200 spring flower bulbs for naturalizing in our rural setting. Found this Bulb Bopper and was genuinely surprised to find that such a small piece of equipment made an otherwise overwhelming task easy, and fun! This little piece of stainless steel dug down through our 2-3 inch hard pack grass root systems and tall grass areas without a single hitch. My drill has a backup power pack which allowed me to continue my work without interuption. Got all 200 bulbs planted in two 4 hour sessions. You can't beat that! Great invention and highly recommended to anyone who would rather not dig a large amount of holes for bulbs by hand.

Comments about Bulb Bopper®:
It makes a small hole, which may be a problem for large bulbs that require depth to ensure that the top is upright. To solve this problem, I moved the bulb bopper from side-to-side, and that worked well. In hard soils, this is a great tool. I broke a manual bulb planter on my hard soil, so I appreciate this tool.

Daffodils deliver—by far—more flowers for a longer time with less care than any other bulbs you can plant. They’ll thrive just about anywhere, and come back year after year in ever greater numbers.

When it comes to tulips, plant generously. Trench-planting method makes it easy.
