Our Exclusive Pound-In Edging Installs in Minutes

This is the quickest, easiest system you'll find for defining an edge around your flower beds or garden. Simply pound each interlocking piece into the ground with a rubber mallet; in most soils there's no need for cutting, trenching, or tearing up sod. To turn a corner, just bend the sections to form the angle you need.

  • Create a well-defined edge in minutes
  • Gives a clean, finished look around plantings and garden beds
  • Choice of three heights: 4", 8" and 12"
  • Each set makes a 20' long edge

    Comments about Pound-In Edging:

My husband had ordered these several yrs. ago for our donkey's shelter. Now I needed more for my chicken coop, and our local stores still did not carry them. I had the carton and crossed my fingers and ordered them and you still carried the edging. I can't say how much these help keep the dirt back but my donkey's shelter has not flooded yet, and it's been 10 yrs.

    Comments about Pound-In Edging:

Several,no, many years ago I installed the edging in my gardens in W. Va. I was amazed how well it actually maintained my flower borders. No more pulling yard weeds out of the beds. A quick swipe of the weedeater and the junction of yard/beds were clean and neat with only flowers in the beds. Now all of my Florida beds enjoy the same professional appearance. What more could you ask.

Our location (Plymouth MA) is sand, and more sand. This edging worked very well here, but may be more of a challange in other locations.

          Comments about Pound-In Edging:

We purchased the 12" pound-in edging as a border against Bermuda grass creeping in from our neighbor's yard. The edging installed quickly and neatly. This depth of edging is difficult to find in stores so we were very pleased to find it at GSC.

            Comments about Pound-In Edging:

A row of lilies of the valley spread out 5 feet, heading towards my neighbor's property within a few years. Trying to avoid herbicides, I pulled out a couple feet of the roots the best I could, not an easy job, and installed the 8-inch edging. In the spring I can pull out what I did not get out in front of the edging, and I have the edging for a baseline to help control the growth. It was fairly easy to pound in, unless there were roots or stones, of course. So far, I am pleased with it.

              Comments about Pound-In Edging:

My backyard slopes down toward the house, and in hard rains all the topsoil was coming downhill, and then on to my neighbor's property. We used this edging to terrace the backyard, so the rain does not wash the soil away, and so I can plant in the backyard. I figure it will take a few years for the plants to become established, and then THEY will hold the soil in place, and absorb the rain.

Ordered once and installed around two large trees in back yard to hold in rubber mulch.
I am so pleased with it that I ordered more to install around a large tree in the front yard to hold in rubber mulch.
I recommend it over any other bordering that I have used. Easy to install, holds in the rubber mulch and gives the look I want.

                Comments about Pound-In Edging:

I purchased the 4" and 8" sections. Great that the different height sections can be interconnected as I had to do when going around tree roots. Very easy to pound in as the soil is primarily sandy. This also causes them to lean in or out which can detract from the border. They are black and very visible between the mulch and grass, which I do not necessarily favor. They do serve the purpose of keeping weeds out and the mulch in place. I will see how they last through all 4 seasons.

                  Comments about Pound-In Edging:

I looked at many edging alternatives before choosing this product. The price is very reasonable and the edging is easy to install. The segmented design allows you to easily conform it to the shape of your flower beds. The edging seems sturdy enough to last. So far, so good.
