Comments about Pound-In Edging:
I purchased the 8" edging. Shipping was quick. I installed the edging and was extremely pleased with the look in my garden. I could not find edging that size in local stores. It is tall enough that my flowers are now protected from the lawn care company's trimmer, and my mulch does not float out into the grass during a heavy rain.

- Mole And Gopher Barrier
Comments about Pound-In Edging:
This is the second product I've tried for placing a mole and gopher barrier around my garden. This edging is much easier to install. It is sturdy, stands up to a 3 pound hammer, and the "points" on the bottom help it dig into the soil. It is narrow enough that I was even able to make a soft curve around the corners. My garden is large, and when I used up two boxes, I ordered two more, thinking I might replace the other barrier I put in. The only drawback is that I would like it to be 3 inches longer so that I can truly be confident the moles won't dig deeper than the existing length.

Comments about Pound-In Edging:
Define beds, create raised beds and terrace slopes. Easily shapes to contours and gives a profressionally finished look. If dealing with thick sod, it's best to use a spade to create a shallow line to give the edging a start, otherwise the top of the edging may start to curl from pounding with the rubber mallet.

Comments about Pound-In Edging:
We use this product for edging on the lawn and for making water wells for newly transplanted bushes and small trees. The biggest benefit for us is that they readily adjust to very irregular and inclined landscape. Rigid but can easily make twists and turns as needed. Great product.

I used this instead of trenching/edging each year, with an added bonus of keeping mulch and soil off the lawn, drive, and front path.

Comments about Pound-In Edging:
This is the best edging material I've used...ever!It neatly defines my garden areas. It stands up to the line trimmer and it still looks good. I've been buying one or two sets every season for a few years now and the first set still looks as good as the last. It is easiest to pound in in the early spring or in the fall after the rains have returned. I prefer the 8 inch for general borders but I've used the other sizes for different situations. It seems at first to be a little pricey but if you want a good border that looks neat, assembles easily, and stays where you put it, it is well worth the investment.

Comments about Pound-In Edging:
This edging is so easy to install. In many of my gardens, I just left the old edging in place & pounded the new stuff right around it. Occasionally I've had a piece or two chewed up from the mower but I just pulled it out & pounded a new one in. That likely would not happen if someone was more careful when they mow but my lawn guy obviously is not.

Comments about Pound-In Edging:
This is protecting the neighbors weed filled yard from spreading into my vegetable and flower garden and keeping my high quality soil from disappearing into the neighbors yard. Installing it took loosening the soil with a pick ax first and then stepping the soil into both sides of the edging. I could not just pound it in with a mallet. The work is worth it.

Comments about Pound-In Edging:
Purchased this to try out around a garden bed. I have sandy soil so purchased the 12" size. Did not pound in easily and some did not go in all the way (guessing that there may have been a rock underground). Used a rubber mallet, and several times the top of the edging broke/bent when pounding it in which made it impossible to pound in the rest of the way.

Comments about Pound-In Edging:
I like to have my yard appear neat and manicured.I have outlined my fower beds and trees I did not want to spend a lot of money as I will eventually have saved enough for stone/concrete, etc. permanent landscaping. The poung in edging has been perfect for this challenge. It is less costly than other non permanent edging and has made me happy with the finished look.
