I live in FL and my screened in lanai allows untold numbers of no-see-ums through. This product seems to keep them away while I'm out there. I'm thinking of buying more for inside my house, as they're there, too. I'm not sure I love the aroma the device puts out, but that's a personal preference. I haven't tried it on walks yet, but plan to. I'm also not sure about the 130 hours of usage. We shall see.

I hung this around my neck when I went out to the garden, and I swear the mosquitoes were laughing at me as they bit my head, arms, etc. Apparently, nobody told the giant mosquitoes here in Northern Wisconsin that they are not supposed to like geranium oil..........I should've known better! This is going back.

I took this camping. I normally come home with 40+ mosquito bites (they love me) but I escaped with only 4. I put this on top the table at night when we played board games. My only bites were at my ankles which were underneath the table therefore out of the repellants range. Smell was mild and not unpleasant.

I garden and do rural work and I think this helps however it falls off of my belt and I don't trust the clip is long lasting. So I put it in a net bag like greenhouse tomatoes come in fm the store; folded bag over to make a loop and used a hair tie to bundle. Put it on my belt w/the loop. This works great.
