  • Minimal space to store it
  • Portable
  • Reduces Number Of Pests
  • Sturdy

Cons

  • none

Best Uses

Comments about Bird Control Pop-Up Nets:

These are great! Keeps all sorts of varmints out of the delicate plants in the veggie garden- cats, birds, chickens, kids, etc. The tall ones are big enough to fit over the tomatoes. Short ones are great for lettuce, etc.
Please, please bring them back! I need to order another one and they are unavailable right now.

No defense against squirrels

Pros

  • Large Coverage Area
  • Portable

Cons

  • Ineffective

Best Uses

Comments about Bird Control Pop-Up Nets:

The netting material was not a deterrent for our squirrel population who easily created a nice sized hole that even the birds used as an entry to the garden.

It was also difficult to harvest as there are no zipper openings. You have to carefully lift the covering off the garden, which requires more than one person if you don't want to knock over your plants.

Loved the concept, fell short on application.

Comments about Bird Control Pop-Up Nets:

I use the low pop up nets for my raised beds and right on the ground. When I use them on the ground, I have to put in extra stakes because those pesky squirrels have started digging under. Have not used the high nets but would definitely recommend the low nets.

Love this bird net and it's easy to use. I hope they make a 60-72" net so my tomatoes could stay protected. I had to remove the 48" net as my plants were at the top of the net and now the deer have come around.

Comments about Bird Control Pop-Up Nets:

I mistakenly ordered the low pop-up net instead of the high one and am now stuck with it as it is impossible to put back in the box once it has 'popped' up. It looks like it would work for the right space - not sure what you would need to protect so low to the ground from birds? My veg garden is fenced and birds are not a problem - just with my berries/fruit. Will be donating to a local farm I'm involved with.

Comments about Bird Control Pop-Up Nets:

I had purchased a smaller version of this products a couple of years ago and still use it. This size is a little unstable and tends to fall in on itself unless staked on the long sides. The smaller size was no longer available so I bought the larger version, but I prefer the 3X3 size.

Comments about Bird Control Pop-Up Nets:

I spent a fortune on many raised beds and all the varieties of netting. I was not going to try a veggie garden without proper pest protection, as we are surrounded by woods.I even bought these beds and netting as gifts for other friends!
Sadly, the frost nets ripped easily when removing them this late spring, and something chewed right through the 'bird' netting and ate all my strawberries etc. The add mentions rabbits and deer, but they do not keep out woodchucks & rodents. Now I have to make my own screen system. I am sooo disappointed!!
