Effective in collecting leaves in the late fall, which otherwise would have fallen into the ponds. Saves hours of collecting waterlogged (and possibly rotting) leaves from the pond. As the nettings are made of black plastic threads, the nettings are not visible (good thing) unless one looks at it carefully.

During some heavy rains last year, our pond flooded and we lost one of our koi. I purchased the pond net as a safety feature to keep the other koi in the pond in the event of another flood. The net comes with stakes that anchor it around the pond. This spring, we had another bout of rain with flooding and all of the koi stayed in the pond safe and sound. Excellent! It also worked well to keep debris out of the pond.
