The assembled unit can't be moved. Each piece sets on one another. Welded hooks to hold shelves not even. Smaller pots will tip in shelf cracks, unless you purchase the shelf pans. Expected better for the price.

Nice looking, seems sturdy, lots of room for plants.
BUT:
One of the quarter-round sections did not have the welded-on "foot". I wanted to send it back, but my husband said no and just used a wooden block so it would sit at the proper height.
For the price they are asking they really should have a better inspection process.

I am using the plant terrace outside. It holds a lot of potted plants and has withstood the many violent thunderstorms we have had this summer.

We use the stand on our deck to display some of our plants. I do not like the metal trays as they tend to collect water. I just removed the trays and use the stand outdoors without them. If used indoors, I see the benefit of the trays.

I'm using this stand on my wooden deck at home and am very pleased with it. I liked that the pieces fit together without screws or other fasteners, so I can easily take the stand apart and store it for the winter. I found it very easy to assemble, with no tools required and found the stand to be quite sturdy. I was going to zip-tie the separate components together because I thought the smaller curved "end-caps" might be prone to tipping, but found that they weren't and this wasn't necessary. My deck is two stories up and subjected to heavy winds at times, which the stand has withstood with no problems.

This is a nice looking plant stand and a good purchase for the price. It seems bigger in the catalog pictures...though all the dimensions are right in the product description, so I really can't complain about the size. It's a fabulous plant stand for lots of little plants and a few medium plants, but not larger ones. It's quick and easy to assemble, which is part of the reason I identified it as flimsy with the tag words. It's certainly sturdy enough to hold plenty of plants, but because of how it is assembled (so easily) the pieces come apart as easily when it is moved. (The assembly instructions recommend putting it together in location, and that's important.)

I read reviews before purchasing and was warned about the small width of the trays. They are small. I have the stand on the deck for the summer and have stored them in the basement. I love the look of the complete stand with trays, but I'm guessing I won't use all the trays in the house because they will limit the size of plants I can put on the stand. But I'm keeping them just in case.

I can't yet comment on durability outside, as I've only had it assembled and on the deck for 10 days. It seems like it will be easy to clean off when fall comes and I have to move everything indoors. If it doesn't clean up well, I will consider purchasing another one for in the house. I'm pleased enough to purchase a second one if I need it.
