Placed the laterns on my corner window sill. One cottage roof was damaged, but did not send it back b/c I wasn't sure if I had to mail all three or not and wanted to display for a party.

The LED lights do not do much for the cottages, so I don't use those lights.

I use these, along with flame less tea lights, as night lights when my nieces sleep over. They love choosing one each from my collection, and I love that they are safe to leave unattended. It makes for a nice tradition.

The Glass cottages do make for a beautiful Christmas Village with the battery voitives. I will be using them year around in a display with my house plants. or they also look beautiful with a display of family photos and greenery around them.

These were a gift to a friend who has almost everything she wants. She was happy to see these unique houses and will probably use them throughout the year rather than only at Christmas.
I was very happy to have found them for her.
