For my use the stacking shelf supplied was a waste of space and not functional so it went in the recycle bin... just needed the small containers for small servings and to store larger seeds from the garden. Nice to have the lids attached and not have them fall or be lost and have to search for them or the right lid.

This item is the perfect thing to use for storing pesto and other sauces that I don't can. I like the way the lid is attached so it doesn't get lost. I love how easily the containers snap into and out of the tray as this makes for easy storage in my freezer. I haven't had this item long so I don't know the durability but it appears to be a heavy grade of plastic so I am looking forward to many years of use. I will be getting more as gardening season approaches so I can freeze back my herbs.

I actually bought these to be able to scoop measured portions of ice cream and frozen yogurt to keep in the freezer so I don't over scoop. They are perfect for that. I like that the lid is attached so I don't have to go searching for it. I've put in the dishwasher and they seem to do well.

We've gone too many years with having way too much of the green leafy herbs in the summer and then having to go to the expensive supermarkets for wilting leafy herbs in the winter. Now we can go to our freezer for a messless taste of high summer in the non growing months in Pennsylvania.
