Comments about Paint Marker:
I bought these with the intent of using them to mark my seedlings. As soon as I uncapped it, I knew that would be impossible. The tip is VERY thick, so small lettering is out of the question. They may be good for very large markers, but certainly not for small ones. It also weeps on porous markers. These points were not made clear in the advertising.

Comments about Paint Marker:
The most important thing to know about this marker is that it is NOT a marker! I mean, it marks things, but it is really a PAINT PEN and if you understand that, you'll be a lot happier with your purchase. It's already been noted that you have to press down on the tip to get the paint loaded into the "brush" (the firm tip of the pen). Sometimes you have to shake the paint down (gently), too. I know this because I used to use paint pens in my crafting. This item has a wide tip, but I was only labeling variety names of irises and didn't need a lot of room. My labels have faced south into the Texas sun for two years now and are just as readable as the day I wrote them; no fading at all. I was able to write big enough to see the names from the edge of the bed, too; not something you can do with copper engraved labels! This is the best alternative I've found to those expensive black and white engraved lables you see in Arboretums.

Comments about Paint Marker:
I am returning this marker because the printing point is too wide to adequately write the plant names on the width of the standard size marker-labels, which I had ordered.

Cons
- Ineffective
Best Uses
Comments about Paint Marker:
Might as well used invisible ink. Marker was terrible, couldn't even see the writing! I ended up using a regular Sharpe which worked just fine but ended up fading eventually.
