Who says raised beds should blend into the landscape? These are meant to be seen! The bright periwinkle blue color looks great planted with vegetables, herbs or flowers and provides a year-round splash of color that’s especially welcome during the drab days of winter. Raised beds are the most productive way to garden, and this Grow Bed makes it easy. The interlocking corners snap together in an instant and the rigid sides hold soil without bulging. We made them a generous 10" deep so they’re suitable for all crops, including root crops like potatoes and carrots.

Comments about Periwinkle Grow Beds:
We got a periwinkle grow bed 3 years ago for a sandbox for my nephew. We wanted something with a little more depth & space than the 'turtles' at the toy store. It has been wonderful and stood up well to being out year-round in New England.
We lined it with landscape cloth, and when it's not in use we cover it with landscape cloth held down at the edges with bricks. This keeps out neighborhood critters who might want a litter box, as well as leaves, grass clippings, etc that might fall in. It also lets some rain in to keep the sand from being too dry.
If I needed a grow bed for plants I would definitely get one, but for now this is doing a great job growing an imagination and maybe some engineering skills!

This was purchased for my 7 yr. old Great Grand daughter. she loves peas & strawberries. Her Papa
My son has showed her how to garden, since she was
old enough to put the seed into ground. We lost my
son 12-10-2011.only 42 yrs old. She says papa is her gardian angel & he is watching over her garden.I got both sizes for her. Perfect product for her, even the color.

Comments about Periwinkle Grow Beds:
Color: Fabulous.
Weight: Great for us older folks.
Size: 3x3 basic is fabulous
Instructions: ..about making the 3x3 a 3x6 are buried. Should NEVER have to drill and screw--and drill bit size isn't obvious.
If you're going to send 2 more 3x3 panels, sell them as "free form" and still include the plates so that drilling is optional.
I _might_ recommend this to a friend, with caveats.

Comments about Periwinkle Grow Beds:
I purdchased this product to use in a County Fair booth. Our Master Gardener Association was demonstrating how to plant a raised bed garden with Fall cole crops. Easy to assemble, great managable size and an attractive color. It attracted a great deal of attention. It would translate well to a homeowner's smaller space being very easy to assemble and prepare for planting.

Comments about Periwinkle Grow Beds:
I am using this product on a cement patio, so I also needed to buy the liner. So far, it's working just as it should--I have 3 rows of beautiful plants. Because I used it on a hard surface, I assembled it with the panels the opposite direction as shown in the directions. There is a small "lip" that I believe is for stabilizing the panels in the ground. On a hard cement surface, the "lip" would do just the opposite, so I just turned the panels and continued to follow the directions.

Comments about Periwinkle Grow Beds:
Put it together myself in about 10 minutes. I love it. I wish I had bought the bigger one. I find the bright color to be a pretty addition to my garden.
