When it’s time to move your tomato and other vegetable seedlings into larger pots, Peel Away™ Pots are an innovative, effective and convenient option. They're made from VELCRO® brand fabric, which air-prunes roots so plants form healthy, dense root systems. This ensures optimal water and nutrient uptake and eliminates spiraling, which results in vigorous, robust plants. The self-watering tray uses a reservoir and a wicking capillary mat to deliver water to plants as they need it, eliminating over- and under-watering and reducing watering chores. When it's time to transplant your seedlings into the garden, the peel-away sides of these transplant pots make it easy to remove plants without disturbing roots, minimizing transplant shock. This leads to an earlier and bigger harvest of juicy, ripe tomatoes and other vegetables. Pots are washable, reusable and store flat. Kit includes three pots plus self-watering tray.

Finally a product to reduce the root shock of transpanting! Pots are easy to use, but tend to stretch out of shape when full and wet. As long as they are in the tray, no problems. Capillary mat works great with large drain holes in the pots. Plants never get too dry as long as there is water in the tray. And the tray is OUTSTANDING. Very substantial. The price is high, but these are sturdy enough to be reuseable.Store flat so they will save space. Nice, bright red color jumps out so they won't get lost when it comes time to put the transplants out.
