I like the pail a lot. Its not as heavy as our previous ceramic crock and will not crack if accidentally left outside in the snow like our ceramic one did. The bags help a lot but when they get filled with heavier wet contents, they do tend to tear as you try to lift them out but I still prefer to use them than to clean out the pail when full of coffee grounds.

I have had this for 6 months now. Cleans up easily and looks like new. Handle is a must for toting scraps to the compost bin. The BioBags are great, and I highly recommend them to use with the pail.
During the summer I was using a bag every other day and had no problem just grabbing the bag out of the pail and carrying it out back to compost. During the winter I compost about twice a week and the bags do leak a little bit of liquid.

This was a Christmas gift for my mother. She loved it! So much better than the plastic ice cream container she had been using.

Was looking for a compost container that was durable, however it arrived dented. The fit and finish of the product is very poor. Stainless steel has a rough feel to it.

This takes the mess and smell out of compost on the counter. It is so easy to remove and take out to the compost er. No more dripping along the way.
