Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
I received this same compost pail as a gift several years ago and have used it continuously since that time. When I heard my daughter-in-law complaining about the odor in her kitchen caused by the food scraps being saved by our son for composting, I immediately ordered one for her. She loves it! It is convenient, odorless and attractive.

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
BAGS: The compostable bags that were sold with this stainless steel composter are WAY too big for the container, so they hang over the side -- thus negating the "attractiveness" of the simple, stainless pail. Also, the bags are not waterproof, so there's a big sloppy mess in the pail -- not sure the bags are worth it.
PAIL: The pail itself seems sturdy and I like the simple design and cover. However, let's hope it doesn't tip over while I'm carrying it out to the bin-- handle seems a bit long. But maybe I'm just used to the no-frills paint bucket I used prior to this!

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
Loved the bags, hated the pail. Within one month the pail had several vertical splits. I'm back to my trusty 5-gallon plastic bucket for stashing scraps in the garage until hauling to the compost pile.

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
Great option for storing food scraps before placing in larger compost bin. However, you need to be careful because if left with top tight and in recommended bag, mold can start to grow. There is no aeration when lid is in place. Recommend leaving lid slightly ajar. Otherwise good product

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
It is a lovely pail. It is well made and very pleasing to the eye and to the touch. I look forward to peeling vegetables just so I can put the scraps in the compost pail. The bags I bought with it are nice, too. They feel very soft. They haven't biodegraded as fast as I thought they would, though.

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
Takes up very little space, but holds a lot. Traps odors and is very easy to transport to my compost bin when full. Took the place of a large plastic bucket, and it looks so much better! I love that the bag liners are biodegradable!
