With a 300 ft. deep backyard, bringing the compost materials back was a pain. Now, I have a pail that is easy to clean, and I just grab the bag and toss it in the back...No Emptying!

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
Stainless steel does not absorb odors and is easy to clean (on rare occasion that you spill on it). With biobags, it is a neat and efficient system for taking kitchen scraps to the composter.

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
This is a great container to keep in your kitchen, to compost all fruit and vegetable matter. However, the stainless steel is not the highest quality, therefore, it isn't shiny after 1 washing, and I can see a tiny bit of rust on the lid where it was wet for an extended period. I keep mine on the counter, next to the sink, on a trivet, so it doesn't get wet. As for the green bags, use plastic veg bags from the grocery store (just recycle the ones that come home with fruit or veggies in them). The green ones don't break down fast enough. I just take the pail out to the compost bin, empty the bag, and throw the bag away or reuse. For the money, this product is good, but not great.

Comments about Stainless Steel Compost Pail and 25 BioBags™:
We prepare many of our meals from scratch and have lots of 'scraps' to compost. This pail is more convenient than trying to place carrot peels in a floppy plastic bag. The handle of the pail feels quite secure, so I am not worrying about the pail falling apart as I walk a long distance down a hill to my compost pile. Once I finish my plastic liner-bags, I am looking forward to using the compostable bags, which will make my composting efforts even easier.
