When I tried to fill the owl with fragrance oil, some went in, but most went all over my hands. In a few seconds I couln't even smell it there! I wasn't intending to hang it in a prominent place, just to tuck it into the tree for the wonderful aroma, which was a good thing because part of the owl got dark from the oil but most of it was still the pale clay color: ugly. There was never any fragrance coming from the owl, though when I had it all over my hands and couter top, it smelled, but not like balsam!

This was great since we have a faux tree, the scent was wonderful but it is SO hard to fill, I spilled a lot of the bottle unfortunately, you either need to send better directions or have the manufacturer provide a dropper of some kind. I still would buy it and will use again as it made the room smell wonderful.

Cork stopper fell apart as I was taking it out for the first use a week before Christmas. Attempted to call the manufacturer, got voice mail out of office until Jan.15 with instructions to call back then, not much use this year or any other year, seemed like a good idea,but it was not.

I was extremely disappointed in this product. It looked cute on my tree but it didn't live up to my expectations. You couldn't smell any of the balsam oil.

This diffuser doesn't fill the room with balsam scent, but I wouldn't want it to. You need to fill it with more oil than I expected, but it does give off a pleasant odor when you are close to the tree.

The product looks nice but that is the end of it's usefullness. Using as directed in a room by itself the odor of the oil was undectable more than 6 inches from the device. Doubling or tripling the oil and waiting several days did not improve the results. This product is a waste of money.

I received the owl infuser in time to use most of this Christmas season. I poured the whole bottle of balsam oil into the infuser and hung the infuser on the tree. It produced a very pleasant, spicy aroma in the open area where the Christmas tree stood, although the aroma was not quite my idea of what balsam smells like. The initial 2-oz bottle of oil lasted through the holiday season. I'd recommend buying the 4-oz bottle of oil in addition to the 2-oz that comes with the infuser.
