I was greatly disappointed after filling it with oil and hanging it up from a light fixture. Even though filled with fragrant oil, the smell does not carry very far. I had hoped to have it fill the room with a nice, outdoorsy Balsam fragrance but I forget I even have it up after just 2 weeks.

I do not recommend this as you'll be disappointed unless it is hanging up in a very small room or you'll pass right by it frequently.

This was a gift I bought for myself. I had to use a fake tree this year and really missed the fresh scent. When I saw this, I knew it was the solution. All my guests at Christmas commented on how good the tree smelled! I will probably get another one next year for my other tree.

I broke down this year and bought an artificial tree for the holidays. So I decided to purchase this diffuser for scent in my house . It is a pretty ornament and smells great too!
A friend liked it so much i bought her one this christmas as a gift!

I'd hoped to use this as a air freshener in my car but the owl is too large to hang on the rear view mirror and I really don't like the scent of the Balsam oil.

Love this owl difuser. Use it in the car. Though a bit overpowering in a small space like that at first, after a little while it is just right. Only downside is that the cork broke the first time I tried to pull it out. Maybe had something to do with having absorbed the oil.

When I tried to fill the owl with fragrance oil, some went in, but most went all over my hands. In a few seconds I couln't even smell it there! I wasn't intending to hang it in a prominent place, just to tuck it into the tree for the wonderful aroma, which was a good thing because part of the owl got dark from the oil but most of it was still the pale clay color: ugly. There was never any fragrance coming from the owl, though when I had it all over my hands and couter top, it smelled, but not like balsam!

This was great since we have a faux tree, the scent was wonderful but it is SO hard to fill, I spilled a lot of the bottle unfortunately, you either need to send better directions or have the manufacturer provide a dropper of some kind. I still would buy it and will use again as it made the room smell wonderful.
