I had planned to use this as a container on my covered front porch and then saw that there is no plugged drain holes. You did say it was watertight. I hope, since it is made out of resin, that I will be able to drill a few holes and use it to show off live plants. It is very pretty so I could just use it in the house for decoration.

I plan to use it for indoor arrangements (fresh or maybe artificial). It is large and very well made. Two together on a dining room table in a large room woould be spectacular.

It was much bigger than I expected, and the details stood out much more than I would of thought. It was well worth the money, I expect to use it for many years on my screened porch.

I'd planned to use the planter for flower arrangements until I realized I'd misjudged the size! It may still work, if I can find flowers with stems long enough to get the "scale" right! Otherwise, I think it'll be a great addition to the garden. It's water-tight, is relatively light weight for moving around and has a pretty good paint job. Bought it at the sale price, and it's definitely worth that!

I sent this as a holiday gift, it [...] pleased my grandmother. After the blooms wilt she can plant the bulbs outside for year after year of blooms (much better than a flower arrangement that wilts).
