Comments about All-Organic Self-Watering Container Mix:
I use this soil for self-watering planters with grow lights for tomatoes, lettuce and peppers indoors, and the plants love it! No more squirrels, rabbits, deer, and insects eating my precious goodies! I even cut up the bags from the soil and wrap the smaller pots (covering the soil) so as to reduce evaporation and help reflect light.

Comments about All-Organic Self-Watering Container Mix:
Purchased the self-watering pot many years ago. The special Hawaiian Ti plant I placed there did well. Had it transplanted to the perfect spot in the yard in South Florida. It's totally beautiful. Now I've just ordered some new Organic Self Watering Container Mix to begin the same process again. Discovered that the platform from the old SW device was missing. A very helpful customer service representative ("Sally") took the time to answer all of my questions and to help me solve the problem of which item to order as replacement. I was so pleased and satisfied. Thank you all! I don't order often, but when I do I always turn to Gardener's Supply Company for the garden-related things I need. You're the best.

Comments about All-Organic Self-Watering Container Mix:
I have a fair amount of experience with outdoor container gardens which is what I bought this for but, haven't used it outside yet. I have transplanted several house plants in it though and found a few problems. It stays really wet. Part of that is how cool I keep my house but it still stays much wetter than plants in old soil so I don't think it drains all that well. I am using self-watering planters. The other problem is that because it stays so damp for so long, I'm getting a fine white covering of what I think is mold. I am highly sensitive to mold and find this very worrisome. I will add more in the spring after using it outside. I am not sure at this point if I would recommend it.
