We use this unique item as a wastepaper basket. It fits our rustic High Sierra mountain home, takes up a minimum of floor space, and illicts lots of positive comments (including our decorator's).
Since it is a natural material product which was made out of the US, it has been treated with an insecticide/fungicide, to which I am allergic. This aroma will dissipate with time or you can hose it down and let it dry naturally to speed up the process.

Love the rustic look, esp. the peeled limb piece used to hook the basket to a tree when you're up the ladder....narrow profile of basket also makes practical to take up ladder with you,..we're displaying in the house during winter because it's so pretty!

My two year old loves helping me pick oranges from our tree and put them into this basket. It is a really nice size and shape. It holds quite a bit but is skinny enough to easily find a place on the tree to hang it.
