Comments about Optional Sun Shelf T-5 Light:
I had two of these lights put above the shelf of a homemade humidity table for growing African Violets and Streptocarcus plants. They have been working on a timer and are totally reliable. I couldn't be happier.

Combined with the stackable tables, these light sticks allow me to grow herbs all winter. I can even get replacement bulbs locally!

Comments about Optional Sun Shelf T-5 Light:
I use two bakers racks for my orchids and these lights were perfect for the lower shelf. Easy to assemble and install with great light output.
My orchids are doing very well and most are in bloom. Thanks, just what I needed.

Comments about Optional Sun Shelf T-5 Light:
I bought this to start my seeds for my garden, and it's just what I needed. It's much sturdier than any other light shelf you can find for the same price, AND it looks like a piece of furniture. It's a bit heavy, but the shelves are solid wood, so that is only to be expected.
My only issues thus far is that it only comes with 1 light per shelf, when it has fittings for 2. It would also have been nice if it came with some kind of liner to protect the wood from water damage from plants.
I think the user who said the connecting light cable was a too short is confused- it's to connect 2 lights on the same shelf, NOT between shelves. There are brackets on each side to hold the light fixtures, and that cable is just long enough to connect the 2 of them. You can't easily connect the lights between shelves- you just have to plug them in separately.

Comments about Optional Sun Shelf T-5 Light:
The wire connectors you provided to connect two lights together on one shelf are too short - by several inches.
Also, it would be useful to provide connector wires that are long enough to connect light fixtures from one shelf to another shelf. Then you could use one on/off switch for all the lights.

Comments about Optional Sun Shelf T-5 Light:
The lights worked okay but there was no velcro to secure the cords to the Sunshelves. Also the cords used to piggyback the lights together are way too short and cannot be used for their intended purpose.
