Use 1 night only for old-fashioned Christmas celebration. It is made of cheap plastic and does not turn on or off. If you want it for decoration it is great. Otherwise, steer clear of this one.

I bought 2 of these for my holiday windows...I was looking for a safe, antique-looking, easy to use window candle. The ad said that one pair of batteries would last thru the holiday: that was (surprisingly) true: the candle turns itself off and on, and the batteries lasted about a month. I liked it so well, I ordered 2 more; they are splendid in every way...the best I've ever tried.

This product is exactly as described -- looks like an
old fashioned candle. That means it is not bright white,
but a dim orange. This was exactly the look I wanted,
and I live in an area with very little light pollution,
so I am happy with the look.
The photo sensor works great; I set up the candles and
don't have to do anything more with them.
Yes, they are plastic. The battery holder was sturdy, the bulbs screwed in easily. 10 out of 10 candles worked
properly.
One candle even survived falling onto a tile floor (with a little help from a cat), although I wouldn't recommend doing that.

I love window candles but I'm not sold on it being plastic. Also wish the light was brighter. Window candles do give off a warm friendly ambiance which I enjoy.
