A Nice Addition to My Garden

I really like this feeder and am planning to order another. Contrary to other customers I find this feeder sturdy enough to allow several birds to feed at once. I even have a squirrel who enjoys munching from it and it has never come apart. It's been hanging for several months through an extremely windy Spring and it has never dumped the seeds. It's a great little feeder!

            Best Uses

            • None

No matter how carefully/firmly I put it together the bottom falls off in a day or two and dumps the seeds on the ground. The openings are so big it's difficult to keep sunflower seed in it and impossible to keep any other seed in it.

I bought 3, one for me and 2 as gifts for folks with children. It's a little small, the birds clean it out in a day or so but that just means they love it!

              Mushroom Birdfeeder won't stay together!

              By C. A. Buchholz

I bought SIX Mushroom Birdfeeders. They are very beautiful to look at empty, in your house, or in the box. But not outside on the ground. The quality of metal is very flimsy, touched even lightly, your fingers leave an impression in the cage. The top won't stay together, because I use Black Oil Sunflower Seeds, & the oil from the seeds, lubricates the opening, that locks them together & they constantly fall apart! Don't buy them! You will be very upset, especially with all your costly Black Oil Sunflower Seeds on the ground.
