I use this garden knife more than my old favorite trowel. It is extremely sturdy used as a trowel to plant small plants and bulbs, as a knife to cut open bags of mulch, to cut twine. The ruler on the blade is great for planting bulbs at the correct depth. I have bought three so far and give them as gifts to my serious gardener friends.

I am gardening using Earthboxes. This garden knife makes that job even easier by eliminating some of the other tools I would otherwise have to carry around. It does a great job of cutting open bags, making holes in the Earthbox mulch cover, cutting out roots, and scooping dirt.
