Exclusive | Grow Bags are Fun and Foolproof — and We Have the Right Size for Every Crop!
For years now, gardeners in England have made the most of very limited garden space by growing vegetables, greens and herbs in plastic bags placed on steps, patios and landings. We’ve made improvements and achieved terrific results — and you will, too! First, our Grow Bags are made of patented, double-layer polypropylene instead of sheet plastic. This felt-like fabric breaths better, so your plants won’t suffer from heat build-up, overwatering, or poor aeration. Plus, our fabric air prunes plant roots, resulting in a strong, healthy root system. We’ve developed a Grow Bag for many popular crops — and this one is especially right for growing herbs or strawberries.

Comments about Multi-Pocket Grow Bag, Black:
I carefully followed instructions and planted my Seascape strawberries in two of these multipocket planters. Despite doing as it said, they collapsed shortly after finished, losing many strawberry starts into the planting soil. I did not have time to deal with it for a few days. It was very disappointing. When I did I transplanted the surviving strawberry starts into a couple of tiers of my three tiered planter I got at Gardener's Supply, which by the way work very well. The plants are growing now, although I won't see berries until later next month.

Comments about Multi-Pocket Grow Bag, Black:
Although I have not yet used this, I have all the other growing bags and can see that this might be apt to tip over and considered putting a PVC small pipe with holes down the center for support and also to put water in to disperse through the planter. And I will also have wicking at various levels from the pipe to further evenly disperse the water. I'm debating buying a second one for petunias as I intend to use this for strawberries and herbs. Definitely it will need support.

Comments about Multi-Pocket Grow Bag, Black:
This was difficult to set up, and unless it rained for some time it was nearly impossible to keep it watered appropriately. I should have turned it from time to time to have different plants face the sun, but it was too heavy and awkward for me to do that. Perhaps if it half the depth it would have been more useful and I may try to cut it back this year.

It is hard to tell since I just got it started.
Kind of big for strawberries at this point.
They are growing nicely
Think herbs might be a better choice to use.

Comments about Multi-Pocket Grow Bag, Black:
This looks like a black plastic bag that is falling apart. It does not stand straight up - but rather falls over itself. Not pleasing to look at. After one day, needed to disassemble because so unsightly. I am terrible disappointed.

Comments about Multi-Pocket Grow Bag, Black:
didn't plant the last row of holes on the bottom. Even so, the next row didn't get enough water and I lost all the strawberries. The very top and the next row down are still good. Waste of money for the plants.

Comments about Multi-Pocket Grow Bag, Black:
VERY difficult to fill without loosing all the dirt out the bottom.Strawberry plants on the bottom are going to be crushed. only filled 2/3 of the holes in order not to loose plants. unstable..needs a central pole with holes for thorough watering all the way down.I have other planter bags and they are perfect..not this one..will have to wait and see.
PS better figure out where you want it BEFORE filling...no moving it after.
