I thought that there would be a cut out space to hide more than one key and to protect the key better.
I might recommend this item, depending upon what my friend was looking for.

the post is in the bottom third of the item. When a key is put on (to hide), if you prop it up (so you can see the cute design), the key falls below and then can be seen. Otherwise, it is a clever idea.

We have river rocks as mulch so the key holder fits right in. The wire coil makes it obvious to those 'in the know' but not to potential troublemakers.
