These work great, and I have been using them for several years now. We use them consistently in our birdbath and little bog water garden. The only complaint that I have about them is that, at a certain point, they do fall apart and leave a bunch of cork or cork-like material floating. That being said, I wouldn't use anything else. They are safe, reliable, and very easy to use. I don't have to worry about breeding mosquitoes, and I don't have to worry about neighborhood cats or wildlife drinking the water.

I use these in my birdfeeders to keep down the mosquitos. They work quite well but they do fall apart pretty quickly. Of course, for all I know, that's how they are supposed to work!

We live in the jersey wetlands. Much of the property has water. We bought rain barrels and immediatly discovered mosquito larva. Bought the rings and it's all gone! lasts long time even through the heavy rains we've had lately.

West Nile virus has been reported in CT already this year. This product is great because it is host specific killing only mosquito larvae and not the other critters in your pond, nor their microscopic food sources.

I use it in a rain barrel, which still has some water in it and was breeding mosquitoes. Have seen none of the pests since I dropped the coil in.
