Comments about Mole Chaser:
I bought two of these, one for the front yard and one for the back. Got the front yard one installed. The moles disappeared even in the back yard! Have not yet installed the back yard one. Unfortunately, it did nothing to effect the gophers.

Comments about Mole Chaser:
A complete disappointment! Very sad. We have been pleased with past purchases from Gardeners Supply.
I placed the windmill in one garden and the moles did everything but come to the pole to scratch their backs. So I moved it to an area that had less mole activity. After a few months the nearest sign of activity was about four feet from the pole. Then, despite monthly lubrication, the ball bearings all fell out. This turned the windmill from one piece of junk to several pieces of junk. I feel the one star is too high a rating but theis site does not offer a lower star rating.
I would not even recommend this to an enemy.
Pros
- Seems to work
Cons
- Bearing went out and rust
- Unsealed bearing
Best Uses
- Garden
Comments about Mole Chaser:
This products seems to reduce the number of gophers this year. 1 or 2 in an area that is infested. They moved away about 80 feet from the product location.
The bearing after one season completly fell apart and the fins on the pole mount have also started to rust. A little suprising as we live in dry part of the state end of the sonoran desert?
I will repair the bearing and paint it as this was an expensive item with a cheep bearing. Disappointing

Comments about Mole Chaser:
I purchased one of these about 3 years ago and just bought 2 more because it seems to be the only effective way to get gophers/moles to stay away from my plants. The one area where I had the original one has always been gopher-free, so I'm hoping the new ones will do the same. A little too soon to tell so far.

Cons

Comments about Mole Chaser:
Moles were getting into the garden area so we bought the mole chaser. They have disappeared since. The mole chaser is also a very attractive and unique accent piece in addition to clearing the area of moles. We would probably replace it just for the attractiveness - that it gets rid of moles is even better!
Pros
- Easy To Use
- Eco-Friendly
- Effective
- Long Lasting
Cons
- Have to buy and cut pipe
Best Uses
- Lawn Care
- Rodents
Comments about Mole Chaser:
Used product to clear lawn of mole tunnels for my elderly mother so she would not fall. Easy to use and set-- maintainence free once placed--these have been in the same area for over two years-- they worked so well that cousin bought 4 for his lawn that had a mole problem. Also, use one at rental property which has had a mole problem for decades now gone... areas that are not covered by mole chaser have them... but not as bad.
Pros
- Easy To Use
- Eco-Friendly
- Effective
- Safe
Cons
Best Uses
Comments about Mole Chaser:
The mole chasers work well if you have 3 or 4 and place them in a circle. The ball bearings are the first things to go. Need a repair kit that can replace the ball bearing section. Regular repair kit that includes only screws is not sufficient to repair mole chaser
Pros
- Easy to put together
- Easy To Use
- Long Lasting
- Safe
Cons
- Inefficient
- Still have moles
Best Uses
- Weathervane
Comments about Mole Chaser:
I hoped for the best, but seem to just be entertaining the moles. I still go out each evening and stomp down mole tunnels and hills. This item doesn't seem to be bothering the moles one bit. But, at least now I know from which direction the wind is blowing.

- Long Lasting
- Safe
