Loved this product! Looked beautiful in apothecary jar filled with amall ornaments and lights tucked in between ornaments...could not see wire. Also used under "snow" with Christmas Village display. Loved the product, and daughter-in-law wants some as birthday gift this year.
the little blue lights are a subtle but pleasing way to add light to a birch tree display in the hallway going downstairs (no outlets)

Each year we decorate our mantlepiece with greens, pine cones and our collection of folk art Santas. I bought two strings of micro dot lights this year and added them in display. The added twinkle was a big plus. The lights do not get hot so I am comfortable with them next to the fresh (and now drying!) greens. The sale price and the reduced price on multiple strings was a big inducement! Attached photo is the best I could do - without flash all you see is the lights, with flash the lights are hard to see! In person though, it is a great effect!

The switches did not operate as advertised. On one set I need to pull the batteries to turn off. On second set the on/off switch works but doesn't shut off after 5 or 6 hours on it's own as advertised. Very, Very disappointing.

The wire is so think I was concerned about it breaking when I wound it around my outside railing. It was packaged so tight I thought it might break when I tried to straighten it out. It was okay and looks pretty. Not what I expected but they seem to be working fine. I would give this information if telling someone about them.
Great for small lighting needs with no electric source
