Even though I have installed cucumber trellises, some fruit forms and grows on top of the soil. Prior to using the cradles, many of these fruits were lost to invading varmints, rot, or other causes. I now have more than enough produce to share with neighbors and friends.

There's no easy way to make something like this as with many other garden gadgets. They stack nicely and take up little space when stored. It was a great idea to help prevent losing perfectly good melons that you gone to the trouble to grow.
