Measuring Tips for Curtains and Shades

Our curtains are sold in a set of two panels. In the standard sizes, each panel is 40" wide to provide a traditional full look for windows that measure up to about 40" wide. For wider windows, you will need to order multiple sets. Our sliding glass door curtains also come in two panels. Each panel is approximately 80” wide to provide ample coverage for a sliding door measuring approximately 80-84" wide.

We offer three curtain lengths. When measuring for length, please measure from the top of the hanging bar to the floor (or whatever point you want the curtain to end).

Insulated Roman Shade

Roman shades are typically mounted inside the window frame, so they cover the window itself but not the trim. If your windows are not a standard width, your shades may need to be mounted on the window frame itself, in which case the shade will cover all or part of the window trim.
