When using for the lower back, with it between me and the sofa back, I had to continually press very hard to keep it from turning off. It should have a button that keeps it on even if you release the pressure even slightly.

I can grab this up and apply it to the tense muscles in my neck or my shoulder with one hand, no muss, no fuss. Inexpensive and effective quick relief at the ends of your fingers. Great little gift for anyone on your list or yourself.

I am a writer and have lots of sitting related neck pain. This too is great for travel or just a quick neck fix without pulling out the big professionsl, Thumper.

I keep this on my desk to use when I get the old writers neck cramps.

It does take a little patience to make it work the way you would like it to but when it works, it works!

It's just like having your cell phone on vibrate mode but a little stronger. The sponge around it is not that thick or strong enough to cushion you tho.

Maybe the manufacturer can come up with a different button to turn the vibrations on that might be a bit stronger. It works fine and is very easy to use.
