Mason Bees are Nature's Best Pollinators

Boost your garden's productivity by providing a happy home for peaceful, non-stinging Mason bees. Slightly smaller than honeybees, mason bees are incredible pollinators. Each one visits as many as 1000 blooms per day — 20 times as many as a honeybee! Hang this natural bamboo house against a tree or wall where it will get morning sun and attract bees. Female bees fill the bamboo tubes with their eggs, and nectar and pollen for the young to eat.

I was pleased with [...] construction and durability. I purchased this later in the season, since bees are not really reproducing it is hard to tell how attractive this will be to them. Hopefully the spring will tell.

No sign of any bees and it does not weather very well, it was very pretty when I received it but now it looks a bit worn out.

Can't wait to see if we get some mason bees! I love the design of this bee house. It seems sturdy and will hold up over time. Until its used by the bees for awhile it's hard to give a review on whether they liked it or not.

Even if the bees don't come...this looks great on my fence wall. I did put a coat of preservative on and
used a brass picture hook on the back to hang it on the fence.

                      Comments about Mason Bee House:

This is a very attractive bee house. My garden was filled with Mason bees so got this house for them and since then, I have seen very few. So right now it is empty. There is a small wasp that is interested but hasn't attempted to move it. If no one is interested, I will take it down for winter & try again next spring. So I cannot say it works but hope to have success.

I have other tubes for mason bees all are the same size
and smaller. I think some of the holes in here
                            might attract wasps instead.
Am returning as soon as Iget to the post office.

We were pleased with the ease of hanging this bee house, with it's sturdiness, and with the look of it. We hope wasps don't find some of the tubes large enough for them to take over!

                            Comments about Mason Bee House:

We just bought our third house. My daughter has four. I really believe that the bees have had a very positive effective on my various flowers. It is a plus to watch them deciding which tube to use and then work hard to plug it with mud. Our bees started to reuse the tubes before some were empty, so there was no chance to "clean" them, but the bees don't seem to mind.
