I put the spire in my flower garden and can see it from my back door everyday now. The blue colors are more brilliant than one could tell from the picture in the catalog. An excellent addition!

i thought this was so much taller than it was! plus i thought for the price, it must have a solar panel that stores sunlight, so it will glow in the dark - no! it's just glow in the dark paint inside the glass ball. not worth the money! if i'd known this before i opened the package, i would have sent it back right away. very disappointing!

This item does not work as advertised, the weathervane does not move. And the globes do not glow.

Sits in full sun in my garden. Looks pretty
but no glow in the evenings what so ever.
Arrow is too tight to move in the wind.

I happen to love blue glass and copper in the garden but for those who dont, it would not work. It is very pretty in my garden especially in early spring before much color.

I live in South Florida so we get lots of sun during the day and was disappointed that there really isn't any kind of a glow with this. But on the plus side the blue glass is beautiful and when the sun shines through the glass it is very beautiful so decided to keep it. The cooper is an added plus makes the blue glass color pop. So if you think you want something that will shed some sort of lite/glow not for you. But if you want a beautiful garden accent this will work.

I bought this item as a birthday gift for a gardening friend of mine. According to her, it was easy to assemble and the colors of the sphere (blue/green) look wonderful in the sunlight. She was very pleased with it--and therefore, so am I.
