Nothing welcomes spring like the sweet smell of lilacs, and lilac season is never long enough, when you’ve waited all year for those few precious weeks of blooming. Our Lilac Lover’s Collection includes one of each lilac, for early, mid and late season blooms. We hare offering a trio of special varieties, each with unique characteristics. Bright white Betsy Ross is a fragrant early bloomer, and the first lilac released by the National Arboretum specially developed for growing in warmer climates. Soft pink Colby’s Wishing Star is a compact dwarf bush (4' H) that blooms repeatedly starting mid-season. Late-blooming Julia extends the lilac season by two weeks or more with delicate red-pink flowers and spicy fragrance.

Comments about Lilac Lovers' Collection, 3 Plants:
I bought 2 lilac collections, for 6 plants, 2 of each hybrid. One, a lilac "Julia," has died. These plants were pretty late coming, considering that we had an early spring, despite the hard winter. Following the early onset of spring, we have had a heat wave, and I suspect that that particular plant was already damaged in shipping or ill prior to shipping, and the heat and persistent hot wind did it in. Any chance of a replacement? The other plants seem to be fine.

Comments about Lilac Lovers' Collection, 3 Plants:
I planted these in my front garden by the fence just a week ago and they are already starting to grow and bloom. They arrived packaged very carefully and were a luscious green with tons of leaves on them. I would definitely buy these again.
