If you start seeds or grow plants in a chilly basement or a drafty back room, the Light Stand Cover will help provide plants with a bright, warm, stable environment that promotes optimal growth. Made from heavy-duty polyester, the cover reflects light back to the plants, increasing light availability by 33 percent — without increasing electricity cost! It has a mesh top to allow excess heat to escape, and multiple zippered openings so you can easily adjust ventilation. These openings also provide easy access so you can adjust the height of the lights without removing the cover. The front closes securely with hook-and-loop fasteners. This cover fits our Standard 3-Tier SunLite® Garden, Standard 2-Tier SunLite Garden and High Intensity 2-Tier Light Garden.

- This Cover Blocks The Air
Best Uses
This cover blocks the air movement around plants that is essential to healthy growth. The first noticeable impact will be the appearance of patches of white, cottony mold on the surface of the soil . . . and it's all downhill after that

This is the worst product idea, bar none, that anyone has ever come up with. Any fabric placed around a plant stand will block air movement sufficiently that white cottony mold will soon be growing on the surface of your potting soil. Very bad idea and obviously never tested by any of the pseudo-gardeners on this site.

1. We recommend using a thermometer to monitor the temperature inside the Cover. The Light Stand Cover is designed for use in cool rooms
where it traps heat, creating a cozy environment. In warmer rooms, open
the Zippered Vents and Front Openings to prevent overheating.
Most plants grow best in temperatures below 85 degrees F.
2. Air circulation around plants decreases leaf disease, helps
strengthen seedling stems and creates a more uniform growing environment.
Open the Zippered Vents and/or the Front Openings, then position a fan
to blow gently through the Cover.
