I bought one of these a year ago for myself to keep up with the leaves in the fall in my back yard! I have dogs and need to pick up after them every day. not a pleasant job! The leaf sweeper helps me daily all season by keeping leaves under control so nothing is hiding under them if you know what I mean. I also just purchased one for my 80 year old mom who insists on raking her own leaves. She saw mine in action and loved it. So she has one now for nest season!

The leaf collector is easy to use. You have to experiment with the height adjustment and then it's quite easy. It needs a cover of some type to keep the leaves in the collector especially if it's windy. Overall it is the best Green leave collector I've used.

This thing works very well! The reviewers that find this product "hard to use" need to simply adjust the brushes height! Easy... Raise them when the grass is taller and lower them when it's shorter! One pass across an autumn lawn and you'll see a swarth of green. Get this and throw away the rake.

As a boy, I often used my aunt's leaf collector. That one was made of solid construction and had a large, canvas collection bin.

How Very Disappointed I was to receive this leaf collector sold through Gardner's Supply. The frame, which has to be assembled, seems to be made mostly of cheap plastic. The collection bin is a glorified small trash bag that constantly has to be adjusted from falling off of the frame.

It is only slightly better than using a rake.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!

Go to the local hardware store instead and shop leaf collectors in person.

Sometimes have to pass over leaves a few times; works best with a brisk pace/slow jog. Wish the handle was a little bit taller. Much faster results than raking. We would definitely recommend this product - had lots of fun!

I ordered this last year. It arrived without the hardware (which was sent promptly) but I did not assemble and use it until this year. Very disappointing. Might pick up a light scattering of leaves, does not work for a heavy fall. Also, the collection basket on mine keeps falling off so it makes more work than it saves.

This is not a product for major leaf-pick up, but has definitely helped for smaller tasks--the driveway, sidewalk, initial clean-up when leaves first started coming down. The bag doesn't fit into it's slot very snugly, but it still works. As with previous products purchased from Gardeners Supply, it's a high-quality product, but was a little difficult to assemble. I like the fact that there is no maintance and it's easy to operate (although a little difficult to maneuver in bumpy parts of the lawn). This has been useful to help with overall leaf pick up, and definitely fits the bill of "easy on the back". I would recommend, especially for smaller leaf cleanup tasks.

I remember these leaf collectors from my childhood and searched for one. Tired of the noise from the leaf blowers, I thought this was a great alternative. It works great, and my neighbors seem to appreciate it. Of course I still need the blower for bushes and hard to get at areas, but the leaf collector has maintained the majority of the yard.

My daughter got me this for my birthday and I love it! I read some of the reviews before I decided I would like to give it a try. Many say they don't like it because it doesn't pick up all the leaves. This is true, however, I can keep my yard under control now. I come home for lunch & sweep my front yard in just a few minutes. My neighbors are so envious!!!
