These beneficial nematodes kill grubs and in doing so keep the skunks from tearing up the lawn. Kids and dogs can freely roll around on the grass after application (when dry) without worry of toxic chemicals spreading into the house and making us all ill later in life.
They got in my hands and face. We a soft flesh too and no longer say safe for humans. I had to use Neem oil and Lemongrass oil to get them out. A women from India stopped me in a store she said in India she was a doctor and Cotton pickers get them. They are from Australia (thanks FDA). They worked for my trees and no roots rotted or bores entered the saplings but wear gloves. They do tell you to so they come with responsibility.

This totally solved my grub problem, which was significant. I lost almost an entire lawn to grubs because GrubX didn't work. After reading a lot about the subject, I realized that I needed to apply the nematodes once in the late Spring and again in mid to late July. Follow the directions to a T.

using as an alternative to chemical grub control, hoping to get rid of brown spots & moles along the way.

This is the third or fourth time I've used this product. Dramatically reduced grubs the first time we tried it, but we had some lawn damage late last summer. Maybe we should have applied Lawn Guard once more time between April and September? Anyway, it's a non-chemical solution, and seems to have some positive effect, so I used it again this April. Time will tell.

These were shipped way too soon for our area - directions indicated refrigeration if we couldn't apply immediately. We had to refrigerate them for almost 2 months before it was warm enough to apply to the lawn. I don't think they survived the refrigeration timeframe - dissatisfied.

I assumed that this product would eliminate our lawn bugs. It may have killed the grubs and left the others (cinch bugs, etc) because we lost our lawn to bugs again. Probably should have used a broadband insecticide instead.
