These durable plant markers are neat-looking, last for years, and really stay put. The large nameplates have room for recording variety names, sources and planting dates. Ideal for marking the position of bulbs at planting time so you don't dig them up by mistake! Zinc-coated nameplates on galvanized wire legs. We recommend our permanent Paint Marker, sold separately.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:
I'm hoping the crows do not pull up these identification stakes, as they do my plastic markers and popsicle sticks! I just put them in after Christmas, and I anticipate my biggest problem will be if I don't keep the weeds down and they gat covered with green. It's so nice to have permeanent ID stakes!
They go in well, even in rocky ground.

Now we will know exactly what tomatoes do the best, as we usually try several varities. Also, exactly where the bulbs are planted!

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:
I spray painted the name plates with y ellow. They really show up in the garden and I can read them with out getting down to the ground. I only use paint pens to make the letters. Backside of the name plates can be used to put additional info such as where you bought the plant, date, zone, light requirements, height, etc. Don't use magic markers--they fade off too soon.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:
I have tried other types of markers and they did not look very good after one season. I ordered the large markers and they can sit high off the ground and are easy to read. They can be cleaned very easily and used year after year. Only con would be that if a permanent marker was used then the writing on it cannot be removed and reused.

Love these, so now when my husband and I walk around the garden, he no longer has to ask me what everything is! Only wonder how I will use them next year, for the DIFFERENT vegies I may plant.

My ponds were on the Pond Tour and many visitors were asking what the plant names are. I couldn't tell them but the markers helped both them and me.

Comments about Large Markers, Set of 25:
My yard was recently in a garden tour and these markers were professional looking and easy to read for the people to know what the plant was that they were looking at. I am actually going to keep them in the garden all year round so when the perennials die back they are still identified for the next year.
