Exclusive | An Orchard Rack is the Time-Tested Way to Store Your Harvest
- Store your garden harvest for months of enjoyment
- Ideal for keeping apples, squash, potatoes and more
- Drawers can be removed to create taller spaces for pumpkins, squash and other large produce
- Perfect for drying herbs, too
Years ago, people stored "keeper" crops such as apples, winter squash, onions and potatoes on rustic wooden racks like this one. The drawers are slatted to ensure good air circulation, and they slide out for easy access. For best results, the rack should be located in a cool, dark cellar or shed.

Comments about Orchard Rack, 9 Drawer:
This shelf is very easy to put together, compact, yet even large squash fit on the shelves. It smells wonderful...cedar. Shelves work very well and are easy to pull in and out. No complaints at all, except that I didn't buy two or three!

Comments about Orchard Rack, 9 Drawer:
I love the orchard rack and am so glad I purchased the 9 drawer. I was able to assemble it easily into a sturdy unit in 25 min. I took one drawer out to allow room for the larger squash.I have saved several spring garden flats (the ones used to carry bedding plants in) and found 2 fit perfect side by side in a drawer. I lined the bottom of some of the drawers with newspaper in case some of the green tomatoes begin to spoil before they ripen. The orchard rack has all my veggies in one place, instead of in boxes and scattered about the garage.

Comments about Orchard Rack, 9 Drawer:
The unit uses space very efficiently. I may add handles to the drawers for convenience. The drawers catch a bit at the rear - a slight taper to the drawer back would fix this.

Comments about Orchard Rack, 9 Drawer:
We bought this for my father's 90th birthday because he needed a nice, compact place to store the bounty from his wonderful garden. He grows wonderful tomatoes---all kinds including heirloom tomatoes. At the height of the season he has tomatoes on every horizontal surface he can find on the patio---the rails of the porch, the table, etc. Now he can just place this in the corner of the patio and he is labeling each drawer with the type of tomatoes in each one, and he is getting rid of all his crates and cartons that he had to use before. Now all he has to do is slide out the drawer, pick the tomatoes, and slide it back in the rack. This is a fabulous product and is very well made.

Comments about Orchard Rack, 9 Drawer:
I added this rack to my Garden House and use it to dry gourds. This spring and summer I will use it to dry and store my onions, garlic and shallots. It went together easily and fits into a small area. I recommend getting the 9 shelf rack because it gives you more room to spread things out.
