Comments about Lap Blankets:
Purchased two, one for my wife, one for my daughter. The blanket is well made and soft. The inner part buttons into the shell, making it easier to use.
Be careful to follow the directions and not leave it in the microwave too long.

I gave this to my daughter, who is a nurse and new Mom. She loves it! Says it feels great after a stressful nights at work, and if the baby is fussy, she puts the blanket over her shoulders and rocks the baby and doesn't get that "hyper" feeling anymore. I would recommend this to everyone.

Comments about Lap Blankets:
My daughter wears a small wool throw over her shoulders even in the summer. I bought this to replace the wool throw because it heats up. She likes it although she still will not give up the wool throw. This blanket is heavier so she cannot walk around the house with it. You really need to sit down on the couch to enjoy it.

Comments about Lap Blankets:
This blanket was a gift for an older lady. While it smelled good it was too heavy for her to lift up and put into her microwave that is located above her stove. Also it is pretty bulky and when you fold it to put into the microwave it seems to fall apart before you can raise it up and put it in. That is because of the fabric which is very soft and nice. It also had a part of the seam that was not sewn together and I told her I would send it back. She said she would whipstich it together. Not sure if she will even use it.

I purchased the lap blanket as a gift for my mother. She is currently nursing a knee injury and has gotten a lot of use out of the blanket. It can be folded and placed over the knee or spread out to cover her whole leg. She likes the size of it and the moist heat that it gives. A good buy!

I purchased this as a gift for my active, late 70s Mom who has experienced some shoulder and upper back soreness. She was a bit skeptical at first, but here's what she had to say after she tried it. . . .
The lavender filled shoulder wrap is delicious . .Lavender being a good relaxing scent . .and the warmth is nice on tired shoulders after swimming. The snuggly microfiber casing is yummy.
It was a bit tricky to get into my small microwave though. I managed, but it took a couple of false starts to be able to allow the turntable able to go around . . I did not want to remove the plate and rollers because I thought it might create hot spots, and be a bit hazardous.
